Players will receive tuition at the National Tennis Centre in small groups with a target ratio of 1:6. However ACTA reserves the right to change these ratio's due to unforeseen circumstances (such as coach illness or absence) or at the coaches discretion for the benefit of the players due to matching standards of play.
Teenage Camps at Wimbledon Park have a target ratio of 1:8 players. However ACTA reserves the right to change these ratio's due to unforeseen circumstances (such as coach illness or absence) or at the coaches discretion for the benefit of the players due to matching standards of play.
All holiday camps are scheduled as OUTDOOR classes and may be affected by poor weather. For camps at the NTC, indoor courts may be used if available but are not guaranteed. All rain affected hours will aim to be made up during the course of the week at the discretion of the company and lead coach. If alternative arrangements are made and players cannot attend then ACTA reserves the right to issue credits against any lost coaching time.
ACTA uses LTA accredited coaches to deliver its holiday programme with the target aim to use Level 3 coaches. During some camps, Level 1 & 2 coaches may be used to run or assist in the running of some on court exercises.
No refunds will be issued due to illness or injury. In exceptional circumstances decisions to offer refunds are made totally at the discretion of ACTA and on a individual case by case basis.
Lessons missed for any personal reasons cannot be refunded, made up or transferred
Having paid for a holiday camp, players can leave the programme part way through term but no refund will be provided.
The fee for the course of lessons is payable in advance and this all-inclusive fee covers all charges.
Once payment and confirmation for a class has been received, the academy reserves the right to move players to alternative classes for the benefit of the management of the camp. ACTA will always make changes in consultation with a players parents and not at the detriment of the player's experience on court
ACTA reserves the right to decide what is best for all players participating in its holiday courses. This includes recommending the correct ball and court size to play, group sizes and players participation in each group.
ACTA operates a clear registration process during all of its camps and requires all players and parents to adhere to its registration rules. Any parents breaking these registration rules including pick up and drop off requirements do so at their own risk and at the risk of the player in question.
